Meet Casey DeMunn, one of the founders of The Soul Center LLC.
Casey is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in New York State. She obtained her Bachelors in Human Services from SUNY Empire State College and went on to obtain her Masters (MS) in clinical mental health counseling from CACREP accredited Antioch University of New England. For the last 9 years Casey has been working as a therapist seeing teens and adults individually both in person and telehealth. Prior to this, Casey worked as a child protective services caseworker for three years, focusing on child safety and improving family functioning and quality of life.
In addition to an LMHC, Casey has been teaching for SUNY Empire State as an adjunct professor. Courses Casey has experience teaching include investigations in protective services, child abuse and neglect, intro into cyberbullying, intro into Human Services and counseling theories.

Telehealth
Telehealth appointments are available and a secure HIPAA compliant platform is used to ensure your privacy. Telehealth gives clients that have difficulty getting to an in-person appointment access to mental health services from the comfort of their own space. A private area where you are able to communicate openly is required.
In-Person
In person therapy is a great option for those who prefer to have face to face interaction with minimal distractions. A safe, quite and calm environment is provided where you can be free to open up and explore the circumstances of life that are causing you distress.
