My approach is rooted in being person-centered and relational, whereby I offer a warm and compassionate presence. I view the therapeutic process as a journey of self-discovery. I will follow your lead and pace to explore past experiences and their impact on the present, increase personal insight, manage stress and symptoms, and to develop effective coping strategies. I will utilize techniques from various modalities to create an approach that is unique to your needs, working collaboratively with you to help you identify and achieve your goals.
Beginning in your first session you can expect that we will focus on having meaningful conversation, where I will serve as a guide alongside you, offering a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your experiences and inner workings. As your therapist I will help you discover your own motivation for change and empower you to build resilience and confidence in
your ability to handle life’s challenges. You will learn ways to tune into the wisdom of your mind and body and as a result will learn to understand yourself on a deeper level, feel empowered to make positive changes and grow in self-compassion. You are the expert of your life, and I am here to help you get curious about yourself to create personal healing and growth.
